The injector holders are screwed into the head and their repair is not particularly difficult.

After each unscrewing of the nozzle holder, it is recommended to replace the anti-ignition gasket, pay attention to its correct placement (see picture).

Identifying faulty injectors


  • The engine should run at a slightly higher speed (approximately 1000 rpm).
  • Carefully tighten and loosen the high pressure wire connections of each injector. The absence of a change in engine speed when the connection is unscrewed indicates damage to the corresponding injector.
  • Remove the nozzle and check the spray cone on the control pump. If the spray is irregular or incomplete, replace the nozzle with another one of the same brand and type.
