The carburetor usually only needs to be completely disassembled when a major overhaul is required. This work must be carried out in a specialized workshop.
If dirt has accumulated in the carburetor, it is usually sufficient to remove only the upper part and unscrew the threaded plugs from the float chamber. After this, you need to clean the float chamber with gasoline and blow it out with compressed air.
