Removal
Remove the air filter.
Disconnect the electrical wires from the automatic starter and the fuel-air mixture shut-off valve.
Disconnect the fuel and vacuum hoses from the carburetor.
Disconnect the accelerator rod, unscrew the clamping screw.
Using a 13mm offset open-end wrench, loosen the two hex bolts on the bottom of the intake manifold flange.
Remove the carburetor and sealing gasket.
Cover the inlet of the intake manifold with a clean rag.
Installation
Caution! Use a new sealing gasket between the flange and the inlet manifold.
Place the gasket, install the carburetor and lightly tighten its mounting bolts.

Insert the accelerator rod into the clamping screw and adjust the rod.
Connect the electrical wires to the automatic starting unit and the fuel-air mixture shut-off valve.
Connect the fuel and vacuum hoses; secure the fuel hoses with clamps. Attention! Use clamps N 023 558.1.
Install the air filter.
Adjust the idle speed (see section below "Checking and adjusting idle speed").
