Check if there is fuel in the fuel tank.
Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel pump to the carburetor. Turn the crankshaft with the starter and see if fuel flows out of the hose.
If fuel leaks:
- Unscrew the main jet (under the carburetor). If at the same time fuel flows out of the float chamber, check the patency of the jet.
- If float chamber is empty, check float needle valve for continuity and fuel pump supply pressure.
If fuel does not come out:
- Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel pump.
- If fuel flows out of it, check the tightness of the fuel pump, if necessary, remove the pump and check.
- If no fuel comes out, blow out the fuel line, remove the fuel tank and clean it.
