- Thoroughly clean the connection points and areas near these connections before releasing.
- Place the removed parts on a clean base and cover with film or paper. Do not use lint-free cloths for this purpose!
- Exposed parts should be carefully covered or locked unless urgent repairs are being carried out.
- Remove spare parts from packaging only immediately before installation. Install only clean parts.
- If possible, do not work with compressed air when the supply system is open. If possible, do not move the vehicle.
- Do not use any sealants containing silicone. Silicone particles sucked in by the engine do not burn and damage the oxygen sensors.
- Fuel hoses must be secured to the engine using spring clamps only. The use of terminal clamps or clamps tightened with a screw is not permitted.
- Make sure that diesel fuel does not come into contact with the coolant hoses. If fuel does come into contact with the hoses, clean them immediately. Hoses exposed to fuel must be replaced immediately.
