Fuel filter for diesel engine with a working volume of 1.4 l (VW Polo 4)

1 — return fuel line
Blue or, accordingly, with blue markings.

2 — fuel supply line
From the fuel tank. White or with white markings.

4 - control valve
Installation position: the arrow must point towards the fuel tank. When replacing the filter, remove the clamp and remove the control valve together with the attached hoses.
At temperatures below +15°C: the fuel flow through the filter is open.
At temperatures above +31°C: the fuel flow through the filter is closed.

5 — O-ring round section
Always replace. Depending on the engine, one or two rings are installed.

6 — return fuel line
From the vacuum pump. Blue or with blue markings.

7 — fuel line

8 — fuel temperature sensor

9 - check valve
Mounting position: The arrow must point towards the vacuum pump.

10 — fuel supply line
White or with white markings. To the vacuum pump.

11 - fuel filter
Fill with fuel before installation.

12 - seal

13 - water drain plug
