The fuel system includes the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, and fuel and air filters. For diesel engine fuel filter instructions, see "Maintenance work".

The fuel tank capacity is approximately 45 liters, the tank is located in front of the rear axle. The driver controls the available fuel supply using the fuel gauge on the instrument panel. The fuel tank has a ventilation system. Harmful gasoline vapors from the fuel tank are captured by a filter with activated carbon and dosed into the engine, where they are burned.
