Removal the spare tire
The spare wheel is located in a niche under the trunk flooring. It is secured with a flywheel.

To keep both hands free when removing the spare wheel or the towing hitch ball joint, the floor covering can be suspended from the upper edge of the luggage compartment (Fig. 1.49).

Place the faulty wheel in the niche and secure it with the flywheel (Fig. 1.50).
Unhook the flooring and lay it in place.
Caution: Check that the spare wheel and towbar ball joint are securely fastened*; otherwise, during emergency braking or a collision, they may move and cause injury.
