The spare wheel is located at the rear, under the bottom of the car, and is secured with a downward-folding bracket. When removing the bracket, be sure to follow the sequence of operations described. Otherwise, the bracket may fall down, which is dangerous!
Removal

1. Unscrew the safety bolt (B) until it cannot be unscrewed any further. The bolt has a safety catch and cannot be removed.
2. Unscrew the mounting bolt (A) completely. The spare wheel bracket in this case rests on the safety bolt (B).

3. Install the wheel wrench from the on-board tool kit into the brackets.
4. Raise the wheel lug wrench slightly and move it to the right. The head of the safety bolt now passes through the bracket. Fold the bracket down and remove the wheel.
Installation
1. Insert the wheel wrench into the bracket.
2. Place the spare wheel with the wheel lug wrench on top of the bracket, lift the bracket up and hang it on the safety bolt.
3. Remove the wheel lug wrench.

4. First, tighten the mounting bolt (A) slightly, then the safety bolt (B). Then tighten both bolts.
Attention! For safety reasons, driving is only permitted with the spare wheel bracket securely screwed in place.
