Tire cleaning
Do not clean tires with hot steam under pressure. If the steam jet is too close to the tire, then its rubber layer will be destroyed in a matter of seconds. The wheel cleaned in this way, based on safety conditions, must be replaced.
Replace a wheel that has been in contact with oil and grease for a long time. In these places, the tire swells the fastest, but later returns to its shape and looks intact. However, the load it can withstand is reduced.
Tire storage
Tires should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place and as free of drafts as possible. Oil and grease cannot get into them.
Store wheels lying down or hanging by the rims in a garage or basement. Before storage, increase tire pressure (approx. 0.3–0.5 bar).
Winter tires should be mounted on their own rims, as changing tires will be more expensive.
