Wheel replacement scheme
Since the front tires wear much more, it is recommended to replace the front tires with the rear ones. However, they will have approximately the same service life.
Replace wheels not individually, but with bridges. In this case, wheels with a greater tread depth are always installed at the front. Install tires of the same type and, if possible, of the same tread pattern on all 4 wheels.
Attention! When replacing or removing tubeless tires, the rubber valve must also be replaced for safety reasons.
Always use a torque wrench when tightening wheel bolts. This achieves uniform tightening.
1. To protect against corrosion, lubricate the center fit of the rims on the wheel hubs front and rear. Use rolling bearing grease every time the respective wheel is removed.
2. Aluminum rims are protected from corrosion by a colorless varnish coating. When replacing wheels, make sure that the protective layer is not damaged, otherwise re-coat the damage with a colorless varnish.
3. Clean dirty bolts. Replace if thread is damaged or corroded.
4. Clamp the wheel bolts crosswise in several steps.
Attention! Do not tighten the wheel bolts one-sidedly or unevenly. The tightening torque for all wheel bolts is 160 Nm.
