Tire marking
195 - tire width in mm;
/70 - ratio of height to width (the height of the cross section of the tire is 70% of the width);
H - speed class, H: up to 210 km / h (on new tires no longer indicated at this place);
R - radial type of manufacture (breaker tire);
14 - rim diameter in inches;
89 - designation of carrying capacity;
H - letter designation of the permissible speed limit
Attention! If between 14 and 81 stands the designation S, then we are talking about a tire with a winter tread.
Attention! If there is no special designation of the ratio of the cross section, for example 175 R 14, then we are talking about "normal" ratio of height to width. It is 82% for breaker tires.
The letter designation of the speed is behind the tire size. Speed symbols matter for both summer and winter tires.
Additional designation "reinforced" - Reinforced tire.
