Snow chains may only be installed on drive wheels (front axle). Before installation remove wheel caps. For tires 215/65 R15 (wide tires) snow chains are not permitted to be installed.
All models may only be fitted with small-link chains that overlap the tire surface and the inside of the tire by no more than 15 mm, including the chain lock. Only snow chains approved for installation by AG VW may be fitted.
