The use of anti-skid chains is permitted only on the front wheels. Before installation, remove the wheel caps covering the entire rim to avoid damage. After removing the anti-skid chains, reinstall the wheel caps.
For technical reasons, the use of snow chains is only permitted with certain tyre and rim combinations, see Owner's Manual.
In Germany, you may not drive faster than 50 km/h with snow chains installed. Snow chains must be removed for driving on roads without snow or ice. Only use small-link snow chains.
