Please note: When transporting heavy objects, the vehicle's handling characteristics change due to the change in the center of gravity. Therefore, you should select your driving style and speed taking these changes into account. Baggage items should be secured so that no baggage items are thrown forward during emergency braking - if necessary, use the available lashing eyes.
Caution: Never drive with the trunk lid partially or fully open, as exhaust gases may enter the passenger compartment.
Note: To ensure good driving performance of the vehicle, pay attention to the even distribution of the load (passengers and baggage). Heavy objects should be placed in the rear axle area if possible, or better yet, between the axles.
Note: You should also ensure that the heating conductive tracks of the rear window heating are not damaged by objects rubbing against them.
Note: Used air is discharged from the passenger compartment through the ventilation openings located under the rear window. These openings must not be covered by luggage.

There are four eyelets in the trunk (see arrows in figure 1.47) for securing luggage items. Two eyelets are located on the sides, right and left, at the front of the trunk. The other two eyelets are located at the back.
