Specifications
At the manufacturer's plant, the engine is filled with a special high-quality all-season oil, which is suitable for use at all times of the year, with the exception of particularly cold climate zones.
When adding oil to the engine, you can also add oil of one specification to oil of another specification.
Oil specifications should be indicated on the oil container.
Petrol engines
If the driver does not have motor oil of the specification specified for the engine, motor oil with ACEA A2 or A3 specification can be used.
Diesel engines
If the driver does not have motor oil of the specification specified for the engine. Motor oil with the VW ACEA B3 or B4 specification can be used. These oils cannot be used for vehicles with unit injectors.
Seasonal oils
Single-grade oils, due to their limited viscosity range, should not be used year-round.
These oils should only be used in extreme climate zones.
Motor oil additives
No friction reducing additives should be added to motor oils.
Malfunctions caused by the use of oils with unauthorized additives of this type are not subject to repair under warranty.
