Removal the headlight
Note: It is not necessary to disconnect the ground from the battery.
Note: The illustrations show the removal and installation of the left headlight.
Note: The work for replacing the left headlight is similar to the work for replacing the right headlight.
Note: If the headlight has been removed, the headlight must be adjusted after installation.
Note: If the headlight with gas discharge lamps was dismantled, then after installation it is necessary to perform a basic adjustment of the headlights.
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and turn the key to position 0 (preliminary stop).
Note: Put the ignition key of the remote control in the vehicle interior during removal and installation to avoid locking the doors and self-activation of the functions "Coming Home/ Leaving Home (Arriving Home/ Leaving Home)".

Unlock and disconnect the multi-plug connection (Fig. 7.44).
Remove the radiator grille.
Remove the front bumper cover.

Unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the guide profile 1 (Fig. 7.45).

Remove the upper headlight mounting bolts (Fig. 7.46).

Unscrew the lower headlight mounting bolts (Fig. 7.47).
Remove the headlight from the body cutout.
Installing the headlight
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
Tighten all mounting bolts to the specified torques.
Check the installation of the headlight for equal lateral clearances. If the gaps between the headlight and the body are uneven, it is necessary to adjust the position of the headlight.
Check the operation of the headlight, including all its functions.
