Warning: When installing the hood, adjust its position according to the gaps with the left and right wings and according to the hood protrusion.
To remove, open the hood. Disconnect the tube and remove the windshield washer nozzles.
Mark the position of the hood hinges with paint. Place the open hood on a wooden support. Lower the hood support. Loosen the hinge mounting bolts (fig. 9-6 and 9-7). With the help of an assistant, remove the hood, being careful not to damage the paintwork on the wings.

When installing, lubricate the hood hinge axles. Together with an assistant, install the hood on the hinges and tighten the mounting bolts without tightening them.
Install the windshield washer nozzles. Connect the washer tube. Adjust the position of the hood for gaps with the wings and protrusion relative to the radiator grille, moving the hood relative to the hinges. Make sure the hood opens reliably. Tighten the hinge mounting bolts. Close the hood and check that it opens and closes correctly.
