To remove, open the trunk lid and place it on a wooden support. Compress the tension spring and disconnect it from the bracket on the body, then from the trunk lid. Mark the position of the hinges on the trunk lid. Unscrew the bolts securing the trunk lid to the hinges and remove the lid.
When installing, put the cover back in place and tighten the mounting bolts without tightening them. Check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the cover in the luggage compartment opening. Tighten the mounting bolts.
Warning: Vehicles with a spoiler on the trunk lid use a special type of lid spring. When replacing, make sure that the spring type matches the required one.
