Check coolant hoses for porosity by compressing and bending them, replace hardened hoses.
The hoses must be put on the connecting pipes to the end.
Check the tightness of the hose clamps.
Check the gasket on the expansion tank cap for damage.
Warm up the engine and check that no coolant is escaping in the area of the coolant pump.
If, when the engine is hot, coolant flows out of the hole at the bottom of the pump, then, as a rule, there is a defect in the stuffing box. In this case, replace the pump as a set.
Finding a leak is sometimes very difficult. In this case, a pressure test of the cooling system in a workshop is recommended (special device required). At the same time, you can check the overpressure valve in the cap of the expansion tank.
