Removal and installation headlight/turn signal light (VW Passat B3)

Removal

Car models up to 9/93: unscrew the bolts (arrows) and remove the partition.

Vehicle models from 10/93: remove the radiator grille and front trim, see chapter "Body".



Remove the mounting screws (arrows) of the main headlight.

Pull the headlight housing forward.

Disconnect the plug connectors of the main headlight and the turn signal light.

Remove the main headlight.



Vehicle models up to 9/93: Press the direction indicator housing lock in the direction of the arrow and pull the housing forward away from the main headlight.

Installation

Place the turn signal housing on the side of the main headlight and secure it in place.

Insert the main headlight and connect the electrical wires.

Screw on the main headlight.

Screw on the partition.

Adjust the main headlight.
