Location of electrical connectors on the back of the instrument cluster
- 1 - 32-pin green electrical connector;
- 2 - 20-pin red electrical connector;
- 3 - device for fixing electrical wiring;
- 4 - sound signaling device for oil pressure and switched on light;
- 5 - control lamp for operating a car with a trailer 1.12 W;
- 6 - 32-pin blue electrical connector
Warning: In the instrument cluster, only the indicator bulbs can be replaced. If one of the indicators fails or if there is any other defect, the instrument cluster must be replaced as an assembly.
Removing
1. Move the steering column to the lower position and remove the steering wheel.
2. Release the lower trim of the instrument cluster from the spring clips (1) and remove it through the top casing (2) steering column.
3. Remove the two screws securing the bottom of the instrument cluster.
4. Move a combination of devices forward and from a back side of a combination of devices disconnect electric sockets.
5. Replace bulbs if necessary.
Installation
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. If a new instrument cluster is installed, correct the indications of the Service indicator and the kilometer counter.
