Headlight Elements



Headlight Elements

  • 1 - lid;
  • 2 - front turn signal bulb socket;
  • 3 - headlight corrector actuator motor;
  • 4 - Front turn signal light;
  • 5 - front fog light;
  • 6 - low beam bulb;
  • 7 - spring wire clip;
  • 8 - headlight housing;
  • 9 - spring wire clip;
  • 10 - high beam bulb;
  • 11 - Front parking light bulb;
  • 12 - Front parking light bulb socket

The headlight housing cannot be repaired and if damaged it must be replaced completely. If only the upper headlight mounting plates are damaged, they can be replaced separately.

Removal



1. Remove the front bumper.

1. Remove the front bumper.


2. Unscrew the mounting bolts (arrows) and, pulling the headlight forward, remove it from the car.



3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlight.

Installation



1. Connect the electrical connectors to the headlight.

2. Place the headlight back in place and secure it with four bolts.

3. Install the front bumper.

4. Check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights.

Replacing the upper headlight mounting plates



1. Remove the headlight.

2. Remove the remains of the broken mounting plate from the headlight housing.

2. Remove the remains of the broken mounting plate from the headlight housing.

3. Install the spare part of the headlight mounting plate (2) into the headlight socket (3) and screw it in place with the screw (1).

4. Install the headlight.
