Analysis
The engine equipment must be removed after the engine has been removed from the vehicle and the transmission has been disconnected, but before disassembling it. The order in which the equipment elements are removed is arbitrary.
1. Remove the generator and V-belt.
2..Unscrew and remove the drive manifold and carburetor, or the drive manifold and throttle body on fuel-injected models.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold.
4. Remove the fuel pump.
5. Remove the heater valve on fuel injected models.
6. Remove the ignition unit.
7. Remove the oil filter with the oil cooler (if any) and the oil filter bracket.
8. Unscrew the oil pressure and coolant temperature sensor, marking their locations.
9. Unscrew the generator bracket and remove it together with the water pump.
10. Unscrew the outlet pipes of the cooling system from the head.

11. Remove the cordon, in models with a manual transmission, then remove the protective plate. In models with an automatic transmission, unscrew the drive disk from the crankshaft, marking the relative position on the distance and adjusting washer.
12. Remove the four bolts securing the rear engine bracket to the block.
