1. A voltmeter must be connected to the battery poles (plus voltmeter - to the plus of the battery, minus - to minus).
2. Disconnect the wires from the spark plugs.
3. Run starter (no more than 10 seconds) and calculate the voltage.
During start-up, the voltage should not drop below 10 V when the battery is charged (electrolyte temperature from 20°С). If the voltage during the test drops below 10 V, and in individual cells there are different electrolyte densities, then the battery is damaged.
