Repair of tires with steel cord is associated with certain difficulties.
If the defect is discovered after a considerable amount of time, the inner layers of the tire may have already been damaged due to long-term driving with very low air pressure.
If moisture entered through the hole, rust could destroy the metal layers of the cord. It is dangerous that the defect cannot be detected from the outside. If the repaired tire is subjected to heavy loads (high speeds, full load), it can suddenly break.
Installing a repair fungus is of little use as an aid, since steel wire near the damaged area can abrade it.
If you want to repair steel cord tires, you should contact the repair shop. Designate the repaired tire as a spare tire that cannot be driven at high speeds. Put the tire in the trunk. If in doubt, buy a new tire.
