Wide tires and rims (VW Golf 1)

Some combinations of wider tyres and rims are permitted for our vehicles. The table shows which data must be recorded at the German technical inspection office.

A - The speedometer may decrease the speed reading, adjust it if necessary.
B - For Golf and Jetta models: tires must have a coating. If necessary, install fender flares.
C - A crossbar is required (N det. 175809001 SP) between the lower supports of the suspension arms.
