Examination
1. Disconnect the plug from the idle switch. Measure the resistance across the switch contacts with an ohmmeter. For required value, see subsection 2.18.8.
2. Open and close the throttle by hand. The idle switch should click every time.
Adjustment
1. Adjustment condition: Basic throttle setting must be observed.
2. Normally, the adjustment made at the factory does not change.
3. Remove the idle speed switch mounting screws and check that the throttle lever is in contact with the limit screw.
4. Tighten the fixing screws a little (1). Squeeze the throttle lever firmly together (2) and idle switch (3) (arrows) and tighten the fastening screws in this position.
5. Open the throttle with the idle switch handle. A click should be heard.
