Remove the fuel filter.
Cars with BLE and BWF engines
Remove the bypass cover with the EGR cooler.
Continuation of installation operations for all vehicles
NOTE: When unscrewing the oil pressure sensor, hold the hollow bolt to prevent loss of tightness in the oil line area.
Remove the F1 oil pressure sensor and screw it into the VAG 1342 pressure gauge.
Screw the oil pressure gauge into the hollow bolt instead of the oil pressure sensor.
Route the brown wire from the oil pressure gauge to ground (-).
Connect the voltage indicator of the VAG 1527 V voltage tester using the auxiliary wires from the VAG 1594 C auxiliary measuring tool set to the positive terminal of the battery (+) and the oil pressure sensor. The tester LED should not light up.

Start the engine and slowly increase the speed.
At an excess pressure of 0.55-0.85 bar the LED should light up, otherwise replace the oil pressure sensor F1.
Increase engine speed. At 2000 min⁻¹ and oil temperature of 80°C, the excess pressure should be at least 2.0 bar.
At higher speeds, the excess oil pressure should not exceed 7.0 bar.
