Cardan shaft device (VW Tiguan 1)

Instructions: Repair work is not carried out on the cardan shaft.

• 1 - Gearbox with angular reduction gear
• 2 - Bolt with flanges and 12 edges for elastic coupling in front to the cardan shaft, M10x30, 50 Nm and tighten by 90°, be sure to replace
• 3 - Flexible coupling at the front, installation position: open side of heat shield facing the gearbox
• 4 - Bolt with flange and 12 edges for elastic coupling on angular gearbox, M10x30, 60 Nm
• 5 - Cardan shaft, cannot be separated at the "arrow" joint
• 6 - Bolt, 25 Nm
• 7 - Intermediate support, adjust without sewing
• 9 - Bolt for elastic coupling at the rear of the cardan shaft, 50 Nm and turn 90° further, be sure to replace
• 9 - Bolt for elastic coupling on final drive, 60 Nm
• 10 - Flexible coupling with balancing weight, heat shield facing the cardan shaft
• 11 - Rear final drive
