All-wheel drive control unit J492 (VW Tiguan 1)

The Haldex coupling has been modified. The 2006 Tiguan is now equipped with a new Haldex coupling (generation "Haldex IV").

• 1 - All-wheel drive control unit "J492", calibrated with the clutch opening degree control valve "N373", replaced only as a complete assembly with the valve
• 2 - Screw, 6 Nm
• 3 - Cover with vulcanized seal, remains glued after removal of the control unit on the control unit or the Haldex clutch housing, must be replaced
• 4 - Clutch opening degree control valve "N373", calibrated with all-wheel drive control unit "J492", replaceable only as a complete unit with the control unit
• 5 - Sealing ring, ensure correct seating of the centering edges in the groove, lubricate with Haldex coupling oil and insert, be sure to replace
• 6 - O-ring, diameter 12 mm, lubricate with Haldex coupling oil and insert, be sure to replace
• 7 - O-ring, diameter 11 mm, lubricate with Haldex coupling oil and insert, be sure to replace
• 8 - Sealing ring, diameter 10 mm, lubricate with Haldex coupling oil before installation, must be replaced
