The vehicle is in a horizontal position. Add oil for the Haldex couplings. Raise the vehicle. Place a container for the used oil underneath. Install the sump -VAS 6208- under the main gear. Unscrew the threaded plug of the oil filler hole "arrow". (For greater clarity, the main gear is not shown in the figure).

Screw in adapter "A" until it stops. Lock elbow "B" with adapter "A". Using the filling device for the Haldex 2 coupling -VAS 6291-, fill in enough oil so that it starts to flow out between the adapter of this device and the gearbox housing. Remove the filling device and adapter; depending on the circumstances, some excess oil may leak out. The oil level is correct when the oil reaches the bottom edge of the Haldex coupling oil filler hole.

Screw in and tighten the bolt "arrow". Tightening torque 15 Nm. Finally, check the oil level in the Haldex coupling.
