Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Unlock the connector lock and disconnect connector "1" from the driver's front airbag impact sensor "G283" "3". Unscrew screw "2" (6 Nm).
Front passenger airbag impact sensor "G284" (only a/i for US and Canadian markets)
Instructions: The front passenger airbag impact sensor "0284" is installed in the engine compartment above the right side member.
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Removal and installation of the front passenger airbag impact sensor "G284" is performed in the same way as removal and installation of the driver's front airbag impact sensor "G283".
Removal and installation of the driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179"
Instructions: The driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179" is installed on the front door support panel.
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Remove the driver's door trim. Remove the front door support panel. Drill out the countersunk rivet. Drill out the countersunk rivet "2". Unlock the connector lock and disconnect connector "4" from the driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179" "3".
Installation
Connect connector "4" to the driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179" "3". Secure the driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179" to the door support panel using the countersunk rivet "2". Use the riveter -VAS 5072- to install the rivet. Secure the driver's side airbag impact sensor "G179" to the door support panel using the countersunk rivet "1" in the manner described above. Further installation is performed in the reverse order. Turn on the ignition. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
Removal and installation of the front passenger side airbag impact sensor "G180"

Instructions: The driver's side rear side airbag impact sensor "G256" is installed in front of the rear wheel arch on the driver's side.
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Move the left rear seat as far forward as possible. Remove the rear wheel arch trim. Unlock the connector lock and disconnect connector "1" from impact sensor "3". Unscrew screw "2" (6 Nm).
Removal and installation the rear side airbag impact sensor on the front passenger side "G257"
Instructions: The rear side airbag impact sensor on the front passenger side "G257" is installed in front of the rear wheel arch on the front passenger side.
Removal and installation of the rear side airbag impact sensor on the front passenger side "G257" is performed in the same way as removal and installation of the rear side airbag impact sensor on the driver side "G256".
