To disassemble, remove the pump drive pulley. Loosen the pump cover mounting bolts and remove it together with the bushing, shaft and impeller, detach the cover from the gasket plane with light blows of a plastic hammer. Loosen the thermostat nipple and remove the thermostat with the sealing cuff.
The pump cover is integral with the bearing and cannot be separated from it; if a fault is detected, they are replaced as a set. Before installation, replace the pump housing gasket, having previously applied a sealant. Assemble the pump in the reverse order of disassembly.
