Locking and unlocking the car
Using the remote control for the locks, you can lock and unlock your car from a distance.
The button on the remote control extends the mechanical key from the handle.

Unlocking the rear door
. Keep this button pressed until all the vehicle's direction indicators light up briefly.
Please note! The remote control can be programmed so that the first press of the unlock button unlocks only the driver's door. Only pressing the button again will unlock all doors.
Replacing the batteries
If the control LED does not light when you press the key fob button, the battery in the key handle must be replaced.
Remote control synchronization
1. Unlock the car with the mechanical key.
2. Turn on the ignition.
If the button
if the remote control has been pressed frequently outside the range of the remote control, the door locks may no longer be able to be unlocked or locked using the remote control.
The remote control must be resynchronized. Additional remote controls can be obtained from a Volkswagen service center, where they will be synchronized.
You can use a maximum of four remote controls.
