Removing
1. Lower the head restraint until it rests against the back of the seat.
2. Pull the lever in front of the seat up and move the seat all the way back.
3. Grasp the loop on the side of the seat and fold the backrest forward onto the seat cushion.
4. Pull the loop on the back of the seat cushion and fold the cushion and backrest forward.
5. Press forward (see arrows in illustration) two locking levers 1 on the floor on the left and right sides of the seat and lift the seat up while holding it by the handle and release it from the bracket 2.
Installation
6. Install the seat on the mounting bolts, press both locking levers down and tilt the seat back.
Further installation of a seat is carried out in sequence, return to removal. When doing this, make sure that the seat is firmly seated on the anchor bolts.
Third row of seats in a seven-seat car
Removing
7. Unscrew the two bolts 1 and 2 from the floor. Press forward (see arrows) two locking levers 1 on the floor on the left and right sides of the seat on the right side of the seat (see illustration).
8. Unscrew four bolts 3 and 4 (see illustration 36.7).
9. Tilt the back of the right seat forward and remove the right seat 7 (see illustration 36.7).
10. Unscrew from the floor two bolts 5 and 6 on the left side of the seat (see illustration 36.7).
11. Tilt the back of the left seat forward and remove the left seat 8 (see illustration 36.7).
Installation
Seats are installed in the reverse order of removal.
The seat fastening torque is 55 Nm.
