Location of the fuel pump relay on the relay block under the instrument panel on the driver's side
The fuel pump relay is located in the relay block under the instrument cluster on the driver's side.
Execution order
1. Remove fuse #28 for the fuel pump from the fuse block.
2. Connect an LED tester between ground and one of the fuse terminals.
3. Remove the upper trim in the driver's footwell.
4. Turn on the starter. The fuel pump relay should click into place. The LED tester should also light.
5. If the relay does not turn on, check the relay circuit.
6. If the LED test light does not light but the relay does operate, connect the LED test light to the other terminal of the fuse.
7. If the LED tester still does not light, connect an additional wire between terminal 23 of the fuel pump relay and the terminal of the fuse.
8. If the fuel pump starts to work, then the relay is faulty and needs to be replaced.
