
2. Using a caliper, measure the width (a) of the timing belt (the arrows indicate the measurement location). If the width of the toothed belt is more than 22 mm, this indicates that the belt is approaching wear and tear and needs to be replaced.
3. When replacing the timing belt, it is also necessary to replace the belt tension roller.
4. Install the timing belt cover and secure it with three spring clips.
