Thanks to this anti-skid system, in unfavorable road conditions, it becomes much easier or even possible to start the car from a standstill, accelerate the car, and overcome steep climbs.
Normally, the traction control system should always be switched on. Only in certain exceptional cases, when wheel spin is desired, is it preferable to switch the system off.
