To unlock the hood, pull the handle located on the side under the front panel - the hood of the engine compartment will be released from the locking device and will sharply rise slightly upward under the action of the spring.
At the same time, a pull handle will appear in the radiator grille.
Warning: Before opening the bonnet, make sure that the windscreen wiper arms are not tilted forward. Otherwise, the paintwork may be damaged.
Opening
1.To open, lift the hood slightly and pull the pull handle in the direction of the arrow. The catch hook will be released.
2.Lift the hood and open it all the way. The hood will remain open under the influence of the gas strut.
Closing
Grasp the hood on the side where the gas strut is located. Pull the hood down until the counterforce of the gas strut is overcome, then release the hood and let it fall freely into the lock (no need to press!)
