
- 1 - antenna mast;
- 2 - insulating base with antenna amplifier;
- 3 - antenna wire connecting the antenna to the instrument panel;
- 4 - antenna wire connecting the instrument panel to the radio receiver;
- 5 - Nut. The nut is connected to the ribbed washer with a plastic ring. When installing the ribbed washer, apply conductive paste to the mating surface of the roof;
- 6 - seal;
- 7 - base of the antenna of cars with radio, telephone and navigation system;
- 8 - ribbed nut M14. When installing the ribbed nut, apply conductive paste to the mating surface of the cover;
- 9 - Screw connector for navigation system;
- 10 - Electrical connector for telephone;
- 11 - Electrical connector for radio receiver
The antenna is mounted on the roof together with an amplifier located at the base of the antenna.
The standard vehicle radio antenna is protected from radio interference.
To reduce interference with radio reception, additional protection is installed on the following units:
- radiator fan;
- windshield wiper motors;
- rear window wiper motors.
To reduce radio interference, the vehicle units are connected to the body at strictly defined points and a ground bus is installed connecting the left side of the body to the hood.
