Geometric design of the rear wheels (VW Golf 3)

The geometry of the rear wheels cannot be adjusted. In the case of testing after a suspected and actual accident, the following parameters are acceptable. If deviations are found, perform conventional measurements of the vehicle parameters or send it for such measurements. The following parameters must be met.

Measurement parameters

Wheel alignment for a car with an engine power of:

• up to 66 kW — 30'±20'
• more than 66 kW — 40'±20'
• The difference between the sides is 30'
• Rear wheel alignment - 0°±10'

Longitudinal inclination of the kingpin for a car with an engine power of:

• up to 66 kW — 1°45'±30'
• more than 66 kW — 3°25'±30'
• Difference between sides - Maximum 1°
