Place the seal around the glass. If there is a lock, insert it into the rubber seal.
Clean the glass opening.
Insert the wire into the recess of the rubber seal, while spreading the rubber with a medium-sized screwdriver and insert the wire along the contour into the seal. The ends of the wire should be located in the middle of the glass.
Place the glass with the sealant along the contour of the glass opening, align it, while the edges of the sealant should cover the edge of the opening.
The assistant should press hard on the glass from the outside in the place where the wire will be pulled out of the seal from the inside. Moving along the contour, tuck the seal into the opening.
Please note: On Golf 660 and Ralley Golf cars the windshield is glued to the opening and is replaced in a different way than described above.
