Removal



Remove the interior door trim.

Carefully remove the protective film so as not to tear it.

Roll down the glass 5 (figure 465) or 9 (figure 466) and disconnect it from the window lift mechanism. Lower the glass into the door.

Cars produced since August 1987: Unscrew the upper and lower clip mounting bolts and remove the clip downwards.

Cars produced before August 1987: Remove corner glass 5 (see figure 466) doors. To do this, free the outer corner 4 of the decorative cornice inside at the bevel point.

Remove the glass gaskets upwards.

Lift the window glass upward.

Installation



Insert the window glass on top.

Cars produced before August 1987: Insert spruce door glass.

Cars produced since August 1987: Insert the clip so that the window glass sits in it and secure the clip from above to the frame and to the door opening.

Insert the glass seal.

Fix the window glass to the window lifting mechanism, maintaining dimension A (see figure 465). Raise and lower the glass several times. If the glass moves with difficulty, lower the window regulator mounting bolts. Align the window regulator, tighten the bolts.

Carefully stick the protective film. Glue the torn film with adhesive tape.

Attention! If the protective film is missing or damaged, drafts may appear in the car.
