When removing the battery, first disconnect the negative cable (3), then the positive cable (1). Then unscrew the bolt (2) of the small mounting plate at the base of the battery
Unscrew the nut at the negative terminal (copper wire), remove the terminal from the battery terminal.
Disconnect the positive cable from the battery terminal.
Unscrew the bolt of the mounting plate at the base of the battery, remove the bolt and the plate.
Remove the battery.
When installing, first connect the positive wire, then the negative wire.
The positive terminal tip is thicker than the negative terminal tip, so it's hard to scare them.
