Contents: Weekly or when refueling ↓ Every 15,000 km, or every 12 months…↓ Every 30,000 km ↓ Every 45,000 km ↓ Every two years ↓

Weekly or when refueling


  • Check the condition of the tires and the air pressure in them (including spare wheel)
  • Check the lighting operation (including headlights), as well as a sound signal
  • Check the operation of the windshield wipers/washers
  • Check the fluid level in the washer reservoirs
  • Check the electrolyte level in the battery compartments
  • Check the coolant level
  • Check the engine oil level
  • Check the brake fluid level
  • Check the automatic transmission fluid level

Every 15,000 km, or every 12 months (whichever comes first)


In addition to the weekly tasks listed above, do the following:

In the engine compartment


  • Inspect the engine for fluid leaks
  • Check/adjust antifreeze concentration
  • Check/adjust alternator drive belt tension
  • Replace the spark plugs
  • Replace/adjust breaker contacts (except for engines with electronic ignition system)
  • Check/adjust the UZSK of the breaker contacts (except for engines with electronic ignition system)
  • Check/adjust ignition timing
  • Check/adjust idle speed and CO content in exhaust gases
  • Check/adjust headlight aim
  • Check/adjust clutch pedal free play
  • Check/adjust valve clearances and replace valve cover gasket
  • Check/adjust wheel alignment
  • Lubricate the hinges, locks and door and hood stops
  • Check the tread depth of your tires
  • Check the operation of the hand and foot brakes
  • Check the operation of the brake booster
  • Check the operation of the steering
  • Check the operation of the automatic transmission and the downshift drive ("kick-down")

  • Replace engine oil and oil filter
  • Check the condition of the brake pipes and hoses
  • Check the condition/reliability of the exhaust system fastening
  • Check the condition of the steering rod joints and their covers, as well as the steering rack covers

  • Check the condition of the drive shaft joint boots
  • Check/top up transmission and final drive oil
  • Check/replace rear brake pads
  • Check/adjust rear brakes

Every 30,000 km


In addition to the above procedures, do the following:
  • Replace the air filter element
  • Replace the fuel filter
  • Check the condition/tension of the timing belt

Every 45,000 km


In addition to the above procedures, do the following:
  • Change the oil in the automatic transmission

Every two years


  • Replace brake fluid
  • Check the operation of the low brake fluid level sensor
