The multimedia control unit "J650" allows the playback of sound via the VW infotainment command system from both analog (AUX-IN) and digital (USB, iPod) connected audio sources. For working with USB and iPod, the system provides for reading ID3-TAG 7 tags. The multimedia control unit "J650" is an interface for connecting an audio input (AUX-IN), a USB input, and a connection for an iPod (power supply, signal and AUX-IN), Special adapter cables are used to connect mobile devices to the USB and iPod interfaces of the multimedia system. The assembled control unit of the "J650" multimedia system can contain a compartment for a mobile device instead of a CD changer; the device is charged via the USB or iPod interfaces.

Instruction: If there is no free WIN standard socket in the car, the multimedia system control unit can be installed in another place. In this case, the customer can use the universal interface (mitsumi connector), which is brought out to the desired place in the cabin using an extension cord (Mitsumi-Mitsumi). The Mitsumi connector must be properly installed in the car interior. The length of the Mitsumi-Mitsumi extension cable must not exceed 1500 mm.

Removal and installation the multimedia system control unit
