LT 28, 31 and 35 (rear axle with wishbones)
70. Drain the oil from the engine.
71. Unscrew the pan mounting bolts. The two bolts at the rear of the oil pan will be easier to access if you rotate the flywheel so that the two cutouts in it line up with the indicated bolts.
72. Leave the tray resting on the suspension crosspiece.
73. Reach through the resulting gap to the oil intake tube and unscrew its mounting bolts. Let the tube fall to the bottom of the tray.
74. Remove the tray by pulling it backwards.
LT 40, 45 and 50 (continuous bridge)
75. On these models, the oil pan is removed in the same manner as on the LT 25, 31 and 35 models, except that the engine must be supported on a suitable lift and raised slightly.
76. Remove the left engine mount.
All models
77. The installation of the pallet is carried out in reverse order. Install new oil pickup tube and pan gaskets and tighten all bolts to the specified torque.
Note: Final tightening of engine mount fasteners (if the last one was filmed) is carried out only after the engine again rests with its entire weight on the cushions.
