Removing
1. Opening the locks (arrows), remove the floor trim in the driver's footwell.
2. Loosen the screw (1) and remove the universal joint (2) from the steering gear.
3. Pinch hoses of a tank and rotary pump by clips.
4. Remove the front wheels.
5. Turn off a nut of a tip of steering draft.
Caution: To protect the threads of the tie rod end pin, leave the nut on a few threads.
6. Vypressuyte a tip of steering draft from a rotary fist and disconnect it.
7. Remove the bottom noise-proof casing.
8. Disconnect drafts from the stabilizer.
9. For the convenience of removing the stabilizer, unscrew the two screws (arrows) exhaust system hangers.
10. On cars with an additional heating system, it is necessary to partially dismantle its exhaust system.
11. Unscrewing the bolts (14), disconnect the pendulum support from the gearbox.
12. Remove the bolts (3, 6, 11, 16) steering gear and stabilizer mounts.
13. Support the subframe with a jack with a wooden block underneath.
14. Remove the bolts (4-5) and lower the subframe a little while observing the position of the electrical cables.
15. Unscrew the wiring harness (arrow) from the stretcher.
15. Remove all fastenings fixing a plait of wires on the steering mechanism.
16. Turn off hoses of hydraulic highways from the steering mechanism and close them by means of a plastic package. When installing, tighten the hoses to 32 Nm.
17. Carefully lower the subframe and remove the steering gear.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
After installation, it is necessary to carry out the operation of bleeding the steering system.
After installation, carry out the basic setting of the steering angle sensor using «Vehicle diagnostics, measurement and information systems».
In case of replacement of the steering mechanism, it is necessary to carry out the basic adjustment of the power steering control unit using «Vehicle diagnostics, measurement and information systems».
