Repair of the steering gear with electromechanical power steering (VW Caddy 3)

Check the dust boots of the steering rod ends (1, 11) for damage. After removing and installing the tie rod ends, it is necessary to adjust the wheel alignment angles (see figure VC 8.023).

Check the steering gear boots (4) for damage. When adjusting the wheel alignment, hold the boot.
